What a great last couple of weeks in Towns County! Born out of the thought to make a positive out of a negative, the Chamber and Tourism Boards along with city and county government, state and federal agencies plus a large group of students from Towns County High School embarked on a shoreline clean-up of Lake Chatuge! We had an amazing turnout and was featured on 11 Alive News with Wes Sarginson who thoroughly enjoys the beauty of our area! Following the kick-off of the ongoing lake clean-up on Thursday, we had the annual Art Walk and Mountain Country Christmas over the weekend. Towns County is definitely in the Christmas Spirit now!
