It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week! If you will be in town for the holiday, plan to attend the lighting of the first annual City of Hiawassee Christmas tree on the lawn of the Bank of Hiawassee just off the square in Hiawassee. The tree lighting will be at 5:30 on Saturday November 24th followed by the kickoff of the annual Christmas parade at 6:00. Plan to make this evening part of your Thanksgiving holiday celebration to get the entire family in the Christmas spirit! We hope to see you there!
