2007 Georgia Mountain Fair Parade
Saturday July 21, 11 a.m.
Rhubarb Jones is not only an Atlanta radio icon, he's also Grand Marshal of the 2007 Georgia Mountain Fair Parade! Jones has been in radio broadcasting since 1971 and has been on the air at Georgia's Eagle 106.7 for over 10 years. In 2001 Jones was inducted into the Country Music Disc Jockey Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn. and has been named the "Best Radio Personality" by Atlanta Magazine. Jones is well-known for his charity projects, which include his annual "March Across Georgia" and "Celebrity Golf Classic." Together the two events have raised close to $4 million for the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
