With the fifth edition of the Tour de Georgia in the books, if you were not able to be here, you missed an incredible day! I have been fortunate enough to be a member of all five LOC (Local Organizing Committees) for Towns County's Stage. What an honor to be a part of the group that makes this incredible event happen! With picture perfect weather and superb race conditions, it couldn't have been a better race day! As Secretary/ Treasurer of Towns County Tourism, I was honored to share the stage with my good friend Jarrell Johnson, GM of the Ridges Resort and Chairman of Towns County Tourism to present the first place awards to Levi Leipheimer of the Discovery Channel Team in an impressive finish time of 4.33.33. If we are fortunate enough to host a stage for the 2008 Tour de Georgia, make plans now to attend, it's a superb day!
